A tough, city editor
(Gannon) first ridicules then falls
in love with a college professor (Stone) whom he is reluctantly
ordered to help.
This
may have been one of Doris's last movies to be filmed in B/W but that didn't
dampen the appeal of the picture. Teacher's Pet which united
two screen legends went on to receive
an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay with
Gig Young being nominated for
his Supporting Role. |
