Hundreds of fans leave a personal Christmas message for Doris Day...

For the second year, this site will be posting Doris Day a card in time for Christmas Day which will contain your personal messages of love and support.....

As you may recall, in October 2008, I invited you all to leave a Christmas message online for Doris Day. Over 380 of you took part in this project for the happy holiday season. All your messages were then printed and filed in a presentation folder which was mailed to Doris's home in California (USA).

Doris later commented about this special package during her annual birthday phone-in chat with her local radio station:

"He sent a book with messages from hundreds of people who wished me good luck and that they loved my work and these beautiful things. I was just taken away! I really was. It is such an incredible thing that I don't expect. I mean I really don't and it's just thrilling..."

Due to your overwhelming support for this project I did the same thing again just before Christmas 2009. Thank you so very much to the 430+ people who kindly left messages on this year's online card. Your heartfelt well-wishes were mailed to Doris in the below presentation folder with a special personalised Christmas card.
