Television was not a medium that Doris Day chose to pursue during the early part of her career. Then, in 1968, after the passing of her husband/manager Marty Melcher she discovered to her surprise that Marty had contracted her to do a TV sitcom. Being a true professional Doris gave her all to this project and quickly became a major star of the small screen. This section details her TV highlights from 1968-onwards.
